What We Are About

The motto of Take My Hand Ministry, Inc. is:  "Revive the Spark of Hope". Many women, children, and families in our world today need to experience the nurturing aspect of the Christian faith.  Abuse, abandonment, low self-esteem, lack of motivational skills, brokenness, emptiness and despair has a way of leaving us spiritually and emotionally bankrupt.  The down side of life causes us to lose our way and our self worth.  Take My Hand Ministry, Inc. was founded as a means to build self-esteem while encouraging and motivating women, children, and families to realize their potential.

Take My Hand Ministry, Inc. is a biblically based, non-clinical ministry designed to help women, children, and families articulate their problems and feelings so that they can find a feeling of self worth, a sense of peace, and the ability to make positive decisions regarding life choices.

Areas of specific concern are:  self-esteem building, spiritual life rehabilitation and recovery, development of life coping skills, women mentoring women, and pastoral care of women by a woman.

Due to the spotlight being turned on the many cases of sexual harassment and misconduct, Take My Hand Ministry, Inc. is also available as a referral agency for female parishioners who need Christian nurture and pastoral care.

Biblical Basis

Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good.  Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.  (Titus 2: 3 – 5)
